Danielle Pilon is the Section Head of Reader Services at the Winnipeg Public Library. She has organized creative writing programs for the public ranging from open mic sessions to all-day conferences and has administered the WPL Writer-in-Residence program for several years. She is a reader, not a writer, but she believes that libraries play an important role in building local literary communities.
