After leaving her small home town in Southern Manitoba, Courtney went on to pursue Bachelor Degrees in music and education as well as a diploma in photojournalism. She completed her MLIS at Western University in 2016. Her past experience as a music teacher and photographer is used daily in her work at the library to expand programming for the community. Courtney believes in the power of stories to help shape our world and is truly grateful to be able to do the work she does in the province that she loves.
