Christine Freethy is the executive director of a regional food security non-profit. She was previously a domestic violence and crisis counsellor, and won a gold medal in child welfare research. Raised in a very impoverished Francophone family with only 6 books, including “la Bible”, Christine become a life long avid reader and a champion for access to books for everyone; she is currently working on reading “EVERYTHING”. She is an enthusiastic gardener and birder, and the most fun person your 3 year old has ever met. She hails from Rabbit Lake, SK (pop 112)
