Jim Hounslow is an Instructional Designer with the Teaching Learning Technology Centre at Red River College. Jim specializes in educational technologies and digital accessibility. He is also a member of the Accessibility Employee Training Working Group.

Jim is also a member of the Information and Communications Standard Development Committee tasked with developing recommendations for the proposed Information and Communications Standard as part of the Accessibility for Manitobans Act.

Prior to this he was a front end web developer at University of Manitoba and sat on the Accessibility for Manitoban’s Act Information and Communication Subcommittee and co-developed guidelines for web standards and visual identity.

He was previously employed as the E-Learning Specialist with the Canadian Museum of Human Rights where he co-developed accessible digital products and was a member of the Inclusive Advisory Design Working Committee.
