The Gaynor Family Regional Library is the Tourism hub for the community and area. We are the main tourism information center, providing 1000’s of promotional information items for the area. In addition our staff are trained as tourism ambassadors and we have our own ecotourism site. The Urban Prairie restored 3.5 acres of tall grass Prairie in the center of the City of Selkirk. This low cost community hub role has increased the outreach of the library and gained considerable support on local municipal councils.
